Residents of Nsuta in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region have been thrown into shock following reports of the sudden death of popular food vendor, Adwoa Tokesie, owner of the well-known Adwoa Tokesie Chop Bar on the 27th of February, 2026.
Adwoa Tokesie, a familiar and beloved figure around the area popularly known as Hotel Junction, was widely known for serving a variety of delicious local Ghanaian dishes including Banku, Rice balls (Emotua), Fufu (Fufuo), and Konkonte with different types of rich local soups.
Her chop bar had become a major food destination for many residents, travelers, and workers within Nsuta and nearby communities.
Aside from the food, her establishment also featured a small drinking bar, which made the place even more lively and attractive.
Customers often gathered there not only to enjoy her meals but also to relax and socialize, making the chop bar one of the busiest and most popular spots in the area.
According to information gathered from community sources, news of her passing has left many customers and residents heartbroken.
Many described her as hardworking, friendly, and dedicated to her business and customers.
