MTN MoMo Agent KYC Update: Agents Urged to Update Details Before Deadline.
MTN Ghana has reminded its valued MoMo agents who have not yet updated their Know Your Customer (KYC) details to do so before the October 31, 2026 deadline.
According to the message sent to MoMo agents, those who have not completed the required KYC update are encouraged to act as soon as possible to avoid issues with their MoMo agent services.
How MoMo Agents Can Update Their KYC Details.
MTN has provided agents with two options to complete the KYC update. Agents can visit any MTN hotspot or Agent Outlet to have their details updated. Alternatively, agents can use the self-service platform provided by MTN to complete the process online.

Documents Required.
MoMo agents are advised to have their Ghana Card and Business Registration document ready when completing the KYC update. MTN is encouraging agents who have not yet completed the process not to wait until the deadline before taking action. The deadline for the KYC update is October 31, 2026.

MTN has also reminded MoMo agents to protect their personal security information during the process.
"Do not share your MoMo PIN with anyone."
Agents are therefore encouraged to complete the KYC update through the official MTN channels and keep their MoMo PIN confidential.
