A photo alleged to show the embattled Ghanaian evangelist Nana Agradaa has surfaced online, sparking intense controversy.
Nana Agradaa, legally known as Patricia Asiedua Asiamah was sentenced on July 3, 2025, to 15 years in prison for fraud and charlatanic advertising after an Accra Circuit Court found her guilty on all three counts. She is currently serving her sentence at the Nsawam Female Prison, a medium-security facility in Ghana’s Eastern Region.
On November 19, 2025, she appeared before the Accra High Court for a separate case involving Ghanaian pastor Appiah Biblical. Agradaa and two others are accused of broadcasting explicit images of the pastor on her former TV station, Thunder TV (now Today TV), back in 2021.
After the hearing, Appiah Biblical ignited social media reactions when he claimed that Agradaa’s appearance had drastically changed during her nearly five months in custody. According to him, her transformation was so dramatic that everyone in the courtroom was shocked.
“Agradaa came to court today. If you see Agradaa, you will be shocked. Agradaa has really changed. She looks so pitiful. Her entire appearance has changed. Everyone in the courtroom was stunned to see her in her current state,” he said.

Then, on November 29, 2025, well-known media shared a photo circulating online that many claimed was the newly dark-skinned and weary-looking of Nana Agradaa, far removed from the fair complexion she was widely known for.

The image triggered fierce arguments across social media, with some insisting it was indeed the jailed televangelist, while others dismissed it as a mistaken identity.
