Ghanaian TikTok star Abena Charlotte, also known as Biggest Abena, is said to have died on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, after her lover, Sylvester Sowah, allegedly attacked her at their home at Abompe New Site in the Ashanti Region.
Angel FM’s correspondent, Chukwu Joseph, who visited the community in the Obuasi Municipality, reported that some residents discovered the TikToker’s body seated in a chair inside the house. The discovery came shortly after news of the tragic incident began circulating in the area.
According to the reporter, Abena and her 27-year-old partner had been experiencing ongoing conflicts.
On the day of the incident, the disagreement reportedly escalated after Abena confronted Sylvester about his alleged use of hard substances and expressed her intention to end the relationship if he failed to change. She had also complained about health challenges she believed were connected to his lifestyle.
Sylvester allegedly responded by asking Abena for money to buy what he claimed would be his final dose before quitting for good.
The attack is believed to have occurred around 11 a.m. Witnesses later observed Sylvester leaving and returning to the house several times. He also reportedly went to a nearby barbershop, where he asked for money to support his habit.
The barber, however, refused and instead offered him a job to help him earn a living. After leaving the barbershop, Sylvester is said to have traveled to another town to meet his uncle, where he allegedly confessed to the crime before fleeing.
His current whereabouts remain unknown. Police have not yet issued an official statement confirming the full details of the incident, and the motive remains under investigation.
Authorities have since declared Sylvester Sowah wanted and are appealing to the public for any information that could assist in locating him.
