This article will enlighten you on how the Ghana Police Service safeguards some important or high-ranking people, especially in government, religion, or public service, as their support to the final funeral rites of Kwahumanhene Daasebre Akuamoah Boateng II at Kwahu Abene.
Kwahu is one of the traditional areas in Ghana, and Abene is one of its towns. The death of a chief is a major event, marked with elaborate traditional rites, processions, drumming, and dancing, and people often ride on pickups in funeral processions as a form of tribute or community participation.
In a viral video, a police service motor rider, professionally known as a police dispatch rider, was seen in front of a 2010 to 2013 design Toyota Tundra. The car appears to be an official police service vehicle, with an emergency light on top and a badge on the front grille, and it is occupied by approximately four police officers.
Two Toyota Land Cruisers, specifically from the 200 series generation, which was produced roughly between 2008 and 2021, were also seen following the official police service car with the motor rider in front. That car is a very popular model among officials and dignitaries in Ghana, according to research about buyers of the Toyota Land Cruiser.

Another two full-size pickup cars that appear to be typical Toyota pickup cars based on their designs and features were also following the previous ones, which might be the one in which the chief is inside with some of his palace officials. They look like a model from 2014 to 2021, likely in the CrewMax configuration when looking at their full-size rear doors.
One Toyota Land Cruiser 70 series, with a boxy and rugged design with headlights and a rectangular grille that appears to be another police service car, was also seen giving VIP escort treatment to the chief and his members from his place.
Unfortunately, the actual chief was not seen in the video, so his name remains hidden or unknown, but reports indicate that the police servicemen were escorting him to the main funeral grounds of Kwahumanhene Daasebre Akuamoah Boateng II's final funeral rites at Kwahu Abene.
A white Toyota Hilux with a lot of guys loaded at the back and a subcompact Suzuki SX4 car in brown color were also spotted following the police Toyota Land Cruiser, which information shows that they were not part of the official cars that the police service officers were escorting to the main funeral rites ground.
