Sad news hit lawyer and politician George Opare Addo, also known as "Pablo," the National Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the first Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment of Ghana.
On October 3, 2025, Malik Yeboah, who shares NDC-related news on his Facebook timeline, calls on all New Democratic Congress party members to condole with George Opare Addo, accompanied by a caption.
"Sad News: The National Youth Organizer of the NDC and the Youth Minister of Ghana, Lawyer George Opare Addo (Pablo), has lost his dearest mother. Let's all reach out to him with our condolences. Be strong in this difficult time, boss. Our deepest condolences to you and the entire family."
Lawyer George Opare Addo, on October 5, 2025, came to announce the passing of his mother with a heartfelt remark on his social media accounts, confirming and indicating that his mother had died.
In a Facebook post, George Opare Addo posted a picture of himself and his beloved mother and wrote a very emotional caption.
"Mummy, travel safely!"
Many social media users who noticed George Opare Addo's emotional post expressed their sympathies and prayed for his mom's soul.
In another post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Popony J shared a photo of George Opare Addo and his mother and prayed that she rest well.

The cause of George Opare Addo's mother's death is still unknown. Additionally, the funeral plans have not yet been disclosed to the public.
