Painful Exit: 27-Year-Old Judith Odame Besua Passes Away, Funeral Set for September.
The family of Judith Odame Besua, well known as “Mommy,” is mourning the painful loss of their beloved daughter, who passed away at the young age of 27.
According to the funeral announcement, Judith’s final farewell will take place in Nkawkaw and Mpraeso in the Eastern Region, with relatives, friends and sympathizers expected to gather to pay their last respects.
Judith’s wake keeping is scheduled for Friday, September 11, 2026, at House No. NSJ19, Nkawkaw Nsuta.
Her laying-in-state will follow on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the same residence. She will subsequently be laid to rest at the Mpraeso Cemetery.
The funeral rites will also be held on Saturday at Nkawkaw Nsuta, while the final funeral rites will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the Nkawkaw Nsuta Funeral Grounds.
Judith is survived by her father, John Akware, and mother, Cecilia Frimpomaa, alongside her siblings, including Joyce Odame, Eric Addo Osei, Robert Akuamoah (also known as Opata), and Beatrice Osei.
The announcement also lists several extended family members, including cousins, uncles and aunties who will join the family in mourning their beloved relative.
