His real name is Enoch Jnr Adjatey, born in Bodie in the Western North Region of Ghana, but he grew up in Nkawkaw Kwahu and has become a native of Kwahu (Asaase Aban). He was born to Mr. Hayford Seth Adjatey and Mrs. Martha Adjatey in the Bodie Government Hospital on the 6th of November, 2002.
Growing up as a child, he always got vibes from playing drums on school desks with hands and pens and then realized he had a passion for music and had to put more effort into it by singing too.
He started his music journey as a child because he was surrounded by rhythms, stories, and energies that spoke louder than words by listening to music from legends like Nana Ampadu, the late Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba or DL, Daasebre Gyamena, and other highlife musicians because of the beautiful stories they put across in their songs.
Enoch started his nursery school at the Tarkwa Aboso in the Western Region and primary school at the Kwahu Obo Presbyterian A and junior high school at the Nkawkaw Anglican and finished his senior high as a general art student of the Nkawkaw Senior High School (The Great Kawsec-Obour Mma).
After senior high school, Enoch came out with a stage name, Sly Pee, a former name before EL Jena, collaborated with other artists like Evidence, P4 Prince, and Caderous, and has even been featured in songs with Okit Physical and Rap Lhord and many artists, especially in Kwahu.
In 2018, he was a member of the group of two named 2Lhords under the group name "Lhords Nation," which was managed by Kaakyire Kwabena Suxcess and Kingsley Gee Five Killango.
Unstoppable and massive collaboration songs were released by these two talented artists (Sly Pee x Rap Lhord) with their group name 2Lhords, and they got on many prestigious stages to showcase their talents to the world.
In 2019, they got the chance to perform at the Eid-alda Street Jams after their released song "Suliya," produced by Aghenzy Beatz, got nominated for all the top awards and shows in the Eastern region.
On the 13th of March, 2020, "Far From Home" was another hit song by them that was released. It was a collaboration song with Rap Tiini, now Tiini Gh and Elly Element, the Fante rapper, produced by Aghanzy Beatz. They also got featured on a hit song titled "Car Owner" by Okit Physical, produced by Aghanzy Beatz, which was released on the 25th of April, 2020.
In 2020, "Jah Over Dem" is another hit song released by them on the 7th of August, also produced by Aghanzy Beatz and featuring Ras Lipo, a Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist who also hails from Kwahu. They got nominated at the Kwahu Music Awards 2020 and won the Collaboration Song of the Year award at the event.

Until 2020, despite the mutual decision of both artists to be separated. Without a doubt, he has shown the world his abilities and diligence, and he has kept working on his solo brand named "Killem Nation," which was managed by Kaakyire Kwabena Suxcess.
He continues to be one of Ghana's most attractive and vivacious young Afrobeat or dancehall sensations in the Eastern Region under that record label.
Sly Pee x Mr. Eazi "Tony Montana," mixed by Aghenzy Beatz; "Sly Pee" (Jealousy), produced by Aghenzy Beatz; "Sly Pee" (Killem), produced by Qhola Beatz; Sly Pee's "Case," produced by Qhola Beatz; "Sly Pee featuring KO7" Frass, produced by Qhola Beatz; and "Sly Pee" "Shito," produced by Fox Beatz, are some of his released projects that got hits. In Ghana's Eastern Region, these singles are possibly the best.
On the 17th of February, 2021, he also featured Okit Physical on "Hustle," produced by Qhola Beatz. In 2021, he was among the Kwahu All Stars (P4 Prince x Rap Tiini, now Tiini Gh x Rap Lhord) who collaborated on KO7's hit song "Killer."
In 2021 and 2022, he was the Kwahu Music Awards (KMA) Afrobeat Artiste of the Year and Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year, respectively. He planned a high‑school tour around the Eastern Region of Ghana, performing his songs like “Case,” “Jealousy,” “Frass,” “Killem,” “Killer,” and “Tony Montana.” His first high school tour was held at Nkawkaw Senior High School, his former senior high school popularly known as KAWSEC, on the 10th of September, 2022.
Evidence and Yaw Prince, popularly known as P4 Prince, are his two supportive artists for the tour. The motive behind his high school tour is to educate the students of high schools about entertainment through his musical talents.
On the 22nd of October, 2022, he held another high school tour at the Mpreaso Senior High School, known to people as MPASS, in the Kwahu Mpraeso district with his four supportive artists, KO7, Elly Element, Pabs Official, and one of the best female artists from Kwahu, by the name of Gyaldem Tish.
He also embarked on a club tour with a friend on January 18, 2023, which was powered by Red Cup as part of his 2023 music project to entertain his fans for the year.
DJ Aroma, DJ I Love You, DJ Red, DJ Obofour, DJ Alvaro, DJ Kidney, and DJ Robisco are the top supportive disc jockeys behind his high school tour, with popular dancers from the Eastern Region: Baggio De Dancer, Purpose Dancers Academy, Team Loda, Ghana Dancing Teacher, and Street Legends DC.
Eastern Promo, NKPromo.Net, KingsNation.Com, Life FM 98.7, Del TV, and Sabo TV are the media partners for the event, with 7Music, Debrich Deco, Samsalex Enterprise, and X2O5 Soundz as their sponsors and with MC Prince, MC Siaw Advantage, and Hype Man Magico Dat as supportive MCs behind his experience.
He also battled the award with five other nominees: Kushbwoy, Chuku Lion, Deblin Vibes, and Ajah Xis, but fought his way through to win the nomination. He won the Reggae Artist and overall Artist of the Year awards at the Kwahu Music Awards 2023 (KMA2023) and was also honored with a DS TV decoder with a panel with a full subscription of one good year.
He came on the stage with Kaakyire Kwabena Suxcess, some fans, and his two sisters for this honor from the CEO of Advantage Multimedia, Nharnhar Qwhesih Advantage, whose real name is Eric Siaw. He was also given the stage to perform to the audience, and it was so amazing to see.
Given his enthusiasm, he is undoubtedly in a position to win a lot of accolades in the years to come.
Nominations in awards events or shows and winning in previous years encourage him to take his music journey far in 2024, as he is officially signed to a new official record label, "Siblings Recordz," and after a few months, he came out with a new name, "EL Jena," to help his brand stand out and be recognized by the entire world.
His first song he released was titled "Taste of You," produced by Street Beatz on the 9th of February, 2024. Many people have responded favorably to the song, especially his fans in Kwahu and Accra, who have encouraged him to work even harder to fulfill his goal of becoming the most Grammy-winning reggae dancehall singer in Ghana in the future.
EL Jena then later came out with a new afrobeat song titled "Rain," featuring Bendecido91, also produced by Street Beatz, on the 6th of February, 2025.
"Carry Go" is a new Afro-highlife tune by EL Jena, trending on all streaming platforms or channels after it was released on the 31st of July, 2025, and produced by Street Beatz. It had a highlife rhythm and significant Afrobeats musical elements. The song addressed love, devotion, and affection in its lyrics.
Due to its danceable beat and relatable sound, the song has attracted a large number of listeners, both in Ghana and abroad. With some outstanding recordings, EL Jena has established himself in the dancehall and reggae community in addition to being a master of the highlife genre.
EL Jena always advances his career, pushes limits, and establishes himself as one of the top echelons of highlife. His ability to combine his style with a variety of rhythms and rich ethnic melodies makes him stand out from the crowd.
