Christian Atsu’s Body Has Reached Ghana For Burial.

 According to reports, Christian Atsu's body was flown from Turkey to Ghana for his ultimate journey to the place where there is no return.

Atsu passed away early on Saturday. He was a winger for many European teams, including Newcastle United and Chelsea, as well as the Ghanaian national team.

Over more than 11 days, during which time the earthquake claimed the lives of about 45,000 people, Atsu's corpse was found beneath the debris. Christian Atsu passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 31.

His agent regrettably verified this after the devastating earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria on Monday, February 6, the former Premier League player, who played for both Newcastle United and Chelsea, went missing on Tuesday, February 7.

While conflicting reports about the player's whereabouts dominated international tabloids, his agent was somberly able to corroborate the tragic news after learning of it early on Saturday morning.

He scored a last-second winner for his current club Hatayspor against Turkish Super Lig rivals Kasimpasa on February 5, just hours before the tragic event. Atsu changed teams in September of last year and was in Antakya at the time of this month's earthquake.
