A lady living in Canada has sparked massive reactions online after sharing a shocking story about the man she almost married years ago in Nigeria.

According to her, the same man who once wanted to marry her recently called to borrow money from her, and the experience made her realize how different her life could have been if she had accepted his proposal.

 

In her emotional statement, she revealed that she might have been struggling financially in Nigeria if she had married him back then. Instead, she says she is now enjoying a better and happier life in Canada.

"The man I'd have been married for long before I came to Canada called me few months ago to ask me, for me, to borrow him money. Still in Nigeria, broke!. If I'd have married him, a few months ago this year, I'd have been somewhere suffering. Let us thinking" she said.

Her post has since gone viral on social media, with many people debating whether success in relationships is connected to choosing the right partner, timing, or simply destiny.
