On January 24, 2023, at precisely 5:00 PM on their official social media channels, the organizers of the 2023 Kwahu Music Awards announced all of the nominees for their fourth awards ceremony.
The primary goal of this event is to inspire musicians to continue their efforts in the future year in order to advance the Kwahu Music Industry (KMI) and reach a larger audience.
Advantage Multimedia (AMT) reports that the fourth Kwahu Music Awards would honor musicians (including Kwahu and Non-Kwahu Natives), media figures, media outlets, dancers, video directors, promoters or bloggers, artists management, and disc jockeys (DJs).

* Reggae Or Dancehall Song Of The Year.
* Promoter Of The Year.
* Hip-Hop Song Of The Year.
* New Artiste Of The Year.
* Hip-Hop Artist Of The Year.
* Gospel Song Of The Year.
* Afro-Pop Song Of The Year.
* Reggae Or Dancehall Artist Of The Year.
* Afro-Pop Artist Of The Year.
* Gospel Artiste Of The Year.
* Collaboration Song Of The Year.
* Producer Of The Year.
* EP Or Album Of The Year.
* Best Vocalist Of The Year.
* Radio Personality Of The Year.

The voting period for all artists in each category began on January 26 and will end at exactly 11:59 p.m. on February 23 of the same year, according to the event organizers.
On February 25, 2023, the major event will take place at Nkawkaw Amanfrom in the Eastern Region inside one of Kwahu's top hotels, the Dubai City Hotel.
