One of the biggest music awards events in Ghana's Eastern Region is the Kwahu Music Awards, which is held every year to honour musicians from the Eastern Region for their dedication and hard work in the Eastern Music Industry.
This event's main objective is to motivate musicians to keep up their efforts in the upcoming year in order to progress the Kwahu Music Industry (KMI) and reach a wider audience.

On January 24th, 2023, Kwahu Music Awards event organisers unveiled all nominees for their fourth awards event which is the 2023 Kwahu Music Awards at exactly 5:00 PM on their official social media pages.

According to the event organisers, voting for all artists in their categories started on the 26th of January, 2023 which will end on the 23rd of February, 2023 exactly 11:59 PM.
The main event will be held at Nkawkaw Amanfrom in the Eastern Region inside one of the best hotels in Kwahu which is Dubai City Hotel on February 25th, 2023.
