Why Is NPP So Interested In Simply Destroying State Structures, Minority Laments.

 A portion of the Parliament has condemned the administration for consistently destroying state buildings without replacing them.

The group regrets that the La General Hospital, which was destroyed several years ago, has not yet been rebuilt.

In addition, the group brought up the National Cathedral, which has not yet been constructed despite the destruction of various governmental structures to provide room for the project.

Ahmed Ibrahim, the deputy minority whip, remarked on plans to demolish the Accra International Conference Center for restoration.

He stated,

"They had demolished over 30 houses in this neighbourhood, Osu-Labadi, in the name of building the National Cathedral and they have not even been able to lay a foundation. "The minister dismantled the La General Hospital in this area, and no construction has taken place since. Why are you solely concerned with tearing down buildings?"

The minister states that the Accra International Conference Center will be razed under the same budget.
