Mohammed Kudus, 22 years Ghanaian footballer who began his career as a central midfielder but has risen through the ranks at Eredivisie club Ajax as an attacking midfielder or striker has been approached by Arsenal with a signing agreement worth €45 million by Ajax which is not yet signed by Arsenal.
Kudus has so far had a fantastic season for both the club and the nation. Last summer, his market value was approximately €17 million, but Ajax is now seeking €45 million to sell him. PSG, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Chelsea are all interested in the player, but it remains to be seen if all these four teams are willing to put in an offer before Arsenal.
Kudus has the versatility to play as a number 9, number 10, or in front of the striker. If they do make a move for him, all of these teams will benefit from his versatility. In 14 Eredivisie appearances this season, Kudus has scored five goals and provided two assists. In six appearances during the Champions League group stage, Kudus scored four goals and contributed two assists.
He has 15 goals and 6 assists in 63 games for Ajax across all competitions. He scored in the September Champions League matchup with Liverpool. His future has generated a lot of talk in recent weeks due to reports that several clubs are interested in signing him.
According to The Daily Mail, a lot of teams are aggressively looking to sign Kudus and he may try to force a trade away from Amsterdam during the forthcoming January transfer window. His performances at the competition, it is said, have stoked curiosity.
