Only eight Ghanaian players have been identified as having a worth of €10 million or more at the beginning of 2023 at Transfer Market, a database renowned for player valuations worldwide.

According to a post that was made on the 2nd of January, 2023 by a Ghanaian Journalist known as Bill Eshun on his Twitter page, Thomas Teye Partey, a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Arsenal and the Ghana national team is the only player with the greatest worth of €38 million.

 

Iñaki Williams Arthur is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for La Liga club Athletic Bilbao and the Ghana national team with a worth of €25m.

Ghana’s golden boy Mohammed Kudus, the prize-winning footballer from Ghana, is only worth about €20 million despite carrying a reward tag of about €40 million.

Mohammed Salisu Abdul Karim, a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Premier League club Southampton and the Ghana national team and Kamaldeen Sulemana, also known simply as Kamaldeen, a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Ligue 1 club Rennes and the Ghana national team are players with a worth of €18m.

Salis Abdul Samed, a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ligue 1 club Lens and the Ghana national team is among the players with a worth of €10m.

Only three Ghanaian players are valued between €20 million to €39 million, while none of the country's players is now worth more than €40 million.

No Ghanaian player is currently valued at €40 million or higher and only three Ghanaians are ranging from €20 million to €39 million.
