West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) Set To Closed Their Facility Down.

 West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) is one of the best football academies in Gomoa Fetteh which has given a lot of young Ghanaian footballers hope in life.

According to the Management of the West Africa Football Academy (WAFA), they have decided to close down the academy due to Ghana Football Association's (GFA's) refusal to admit them in Zone 3 In Division One.

West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) formerly known as Feyenoord Soccer Academy (FSA) in the Gomoa Fetteh was playing in Zone 2 before the new owners took over and change the name and their location to Sogakope in the Volta Region.

The West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) got relegated last season from the Ghana Premier League (GPL) and Ghana Football Association (GFS) has also informed them to revert to their previous Zone for their Division One league games.

The Management has written to the Football Association (FA) to change their Zone from Zone 2 to Zone 3 but the Football Association still refused their letter.

So therefore the West Africa Football Academy Management has decided to close down their facility and opt-out from the Division One league if the Ghana Football Association still maintains their decision of insisting they go back to Zone 2.
