This article talks about a Ghana Senior High School Mathematics teacher who was Jailed for 15 years in Northern Ghana for his criminal act.
Tamale high court sentenced Ernest Ocloo of Sawla Senior High School teacher to jail for 15 years after forcing an 18-years old student for sex at their school staff room when they have closed from school.
According to the story, the headmaster of Sawla Senior High School sent this 18-years girl to call Ernest Ocloo, the Maths teacher for him in their staff room. As she went there, Ernest Ocloo gave this girl a yoghurt to eat and he started a love chart with her.
But this 18-year girl refuses to accept his proposal, so he chose to force her into sex where the girl started to scream but unfortunately, nobody heard her help.
The headmaster sent one of the staff teachers to call him and behold, the staff teacher saw this Maths teacher going up and down on the student where she shouted "Jesus Christ!!". This made other colleague teachers rush to see what is going on and they saw this teacher forcing the student for sex.
They reported the case to the Headmaster of the school where they drag the case to the police station for prosecution. They found out that the girl was weak so some of the staff teachers plus two students of the school rushed her to the nearest hospital and she was hospitalized for one and a half days before she died.
On the 14th of May, 2022, they sat on this case at Tamela High Court where the court have to sentence Ernest Ocloo to jail for 15 years for his criminal act.
