Q1. Who is eligible for biometric capture!?
= Ans: Any new or existing customer who has successfully linked their SIMs to the Ghana Card.
Q2. What happens to those who did not capture their biometrics after linking their Ghana Card on *404#!?
= Ans: They will be required to have their biometrics captured before the deadline of March 31, 2022.
Q3. How will the Customer know he has to go and capture his/her biometrics!?
= Ans: The customer will be contacted directly through multiple channels – SMS, Outbound, and Digital where applicable.
Q4. Can a Retailer Register a New Sim card successfully without going through the CP App!?
= Ans Yes. But the Customer will receive his/her unique code and will be required to visit any MTN Service Touchpoint to have his/her biometrics captured to be fully registered.
Q5. What happens if I don’t get my biometrics captured even though I have linked my Ghana Card on *404#!?
= Ans: The Customer is not fully registered and his number will be terminated after 31st March 2022.
Q6. How do we deal with irate customers who visited us last week and we told them we are only linking their cards and they are suddenly told they have to return and capture their biometric information!?
= Ans: Just apologize for the inconvenience and tell them we are now ready to fully serve them.
