Rebecca Naa Dedei Aryeetey was a Ghanaian business woman, political activist and a feminist born in 22nd of June, 1961. She was popularly known for her flour business in Ghana and she was very wealthy. She was a very close friend of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

She was very popular and was the Chief Financier of Nkrumah's Party. She campaigned and supported Kwame Nkrumah against her own Kinsman. Odartey Lamtey and as such. She generated more haters for herself after campaigned for Kwame Nkrumah.

She always mobilized all the market woman at Accra and they voted massively for Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. She accompanied Nkrumah to a gathering at Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana, where she was poisoned with food and died. She died childless which caused pain to most Ghanaians especially business woman's.

She invested all she has in Convention People Party (CPP) and brought the idea of bringing doubled-decker transport buses to Accra with the help of an American friend. That's why those buses were named after her "Auntie Dedei". She was honoured and placed on Ghana's fifty pesewas coin. This is what I know about her.
