Ghanaians Jubilation As National Communication Authority (NCA) Extended The End Date For Re-registration of SIM Cards

Re-registration exercise started on 1st of October, 2021 which will be ending on March 31st, 2022, but National Communication Authority have extended the ending date for all Ghanaian's to be able to re-register their SIM Cards.

According to them, about Seven Million people have re-registered their SIM cards with their Ghana Card but still majority too have not yet re-register because of some two and three reasons.

So they have to extend the ending date for all Ghanaian's to be able to re-register their SIM Cards for easy communication, transactions and others in the country.

Now National Communication Authority (NCA) have extend the ending date for re-registration from March 31st, 2022 to July 31st, 2022. They have now added four good months to the date for all Ghanaian's to be able to re-register their SIM Cards.

According to them, all old SIM cards must be re-registered before July 31st, 2022 or else they will suspend SIM cards which have not yet go through re-registration exercise which is the biometric registration.
