This article talks about the new network codes which is initiate by Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN) issued and authorized by National Communication Authority (NCA) in Ghana to be use by their customers.
Mobile Telecommunication Network known by a lots of people as MTN has received new codes which is issued and authorized by the National Communication Authority (NCA) which will be use in registration of SIM cards.
In next month, all customers of all Network holders, e.g, MTN, Vodafone, AirtelTigo and Glo should visit offices of this institutions to perform re-registration of their SIM cards to prevent any fraudulent activities in the country which is issued and authorized by Government of Ghana.
The new network codes are, 059-7, 059-8, 059-9, 025-6 and 025-7 added to the existing network codes 024, 054, 055 and 059, e.g, 0597*****3, 0598*****1, 0599*****5, 0256*****0 and 0257*****8.
As an ambassador for Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN), I have to educate my friends and families on the new network codes to avoid scammers from talking advantage on it to defraud our customers in Ghana.
We announce it to all our customers to take notes of this new network codes to avoid recognizing it as unknown lines when some one use any of the codes in his or her numbers.

MTN will only call you with this line 0244300000 to alert you if you win something from their institution and let you come with your valid ID card to their office to claim it.
