 Ghanaian popular Disc Jockey from Obuoba 91.7 FM who hosts "Obuoba Drive Show" by the name DJ 024 was given the platform on the 25th of June, 2022 inside Dubai City Hotel to present the first award which is the best event of the year award to the winner and it was so amazing.

The nominees were "All White Party", " Rep Your Jersey", "Rep Your Swag" and "December To Remember" and the Best Event of the Year was won by "Rep Your Jersey" which is managed by a popular Disc Jockey, professional known as DJ Blay and his crew.

This award event is the third edition of the Kwahu Music Awards and their motive is to motivate artists from the Eastern Region of Ghana for their good work in the music industry in Kwahu.
