The residents of Kwahu Obo are facing access to portable water from Ghana Water Company which has led them to fetch water from the nearest rivers in their township.
Because of mining activities in some of the mining centres in their towns, all their rivers are contaminated by chemicals and dust which makes them find it difficult to get good water for their house chores.
Elders of the town have spoken on these challenges to the responsible holders but know one bailed them out of these challenges.
So, therefore, appealed to the Government through the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources to come to their aid for them to get quality and quantity boreholes in the various township for healthy living.
